In this video, we demonstrate how to install front seat covers on a Yamaha G16 golf cart. This cover also fits on the Yamaha G14, G19 and G22 models.

After explaining why you might want to replace your seat covers, the installation steps are clearly spelled out, including bolt removal, staple removal and wrapping of the back portion of the front seat cushion with new vinyl. You will see that care is necessary to align the cover correctly by placing the larger-contoured edge toward the top, where it matches the cushion’s shape.

After covering both sides evenly, the cover is stretched tightly and stapled in place. Excess vinyl is removed with a razor blade.

The final step of the tutorial is to reattach the metal back. This process can then be repeated to recover the bottom portion of the front seat cushion.
