In this video, DIY Golf Cart installs heavy-duty rear leaf springs. This installation works on EZGO TXT 1995 or later models. Before starting, ensure that you have an impact driver or socket wrench and a swivel socket handy. To start, the rear of the cart is lifted until both tires obtain sufficient ground clearance. The front tires are blocked to prevent the cart from rolling. Once lifted, you engage the parking brake and remove one rear tire. One side is replaced at a time. The old springs are unbolted and the new springs are mounted between the chock plate and the axle bracket. Once aligned, the tire is replaced, and the other side is done in the same manner.
