In this video, Barry at DIY Golf Cart shows us how to correctly install a Diamond Plate kick panel on 1982 and newer Club Car DS golf carts.

After naming the tools that will be needed (drill, small drill bit, and Phillips bit), Barry locates the center of the body of the cart, pointing out that the kick plate is beveled to match the body of the cart. Next, using screws provided with the kit, he drills in the four top screws. When it is time to drill holes for the four bottom screws, a very small drill bit is needed. Barry advises drilling slowly and carefully for this last step due to the batteries located at the rear of the cart.
