In this video, Barry installs a new drive clutch on a Yamaha G9. This particular fix works on all Yamaha G2 through G22 series carts. By first removing the two 10-mm bolts on the air cleaner, you can disconnect the hose from the carburetor. You must take off the drive belt before taking off the primary clutch cap. An air wrench is needed to take the main bolt out of the primary clutch. After the old clutch is detached, the new one is installed on the crankshaft by using the air ratchet to tighten it down. You must ensure the belts are realigned and tightened before securing the air-cleaner hose back to the carburetor.
