Golf Cart MP3 Stereo | How to Install Radio
Sep 27th 2017
DIY Golf Cart takes on a modification project in this episode. Barry installs an MP3 player, stereo, and amplifier on aYamaha G9 gas-powered cart. This mod requires cutting, so a reciprocating saw or similar tool is needed. Barry starts by lining the dash panel with painter’s tape before cutting speaker holes. This tape is used to prevent chipping or scratching the paint while cutting. After the holes are cut, the speakers are mounted. Barry then runs a wire from the speakers to the amp, which is located under the dash. The amp is powered by the 12-volt battery located on the golf cart. The wiring can be some tricky, so helpful pictures are included at the end of the video.
