EZGO TXT Body Removal | How to Remove Golf Cart Body | Episode 1
Oct 12th 2017
In this episode, Barry demonstrates how to remove the body from a 2003 EZGO TXT golf cart. The tools needed include a flathead and Phillips-head screwdriver, standard sockets and wrenches, and a drill with a narrow bit. Barry starts by taking the top and front windshield bracing off before removing the rear support and seat with a half-inch socket. The rear flip-flop seat and primary seat-base are removed next. Once removed, Barry is able to access and unhook the charge cable from the batteries. Barry then uses a drill to remove the seat hinges and numerous rivets, which allows Barry to remove the rear body and hood pieces, leaving only the chassis.
