In this episode, we learn how to install a chrome billet column sleeve on a 2001 and up EZGO TXT golf cart. This accessory gives an elegant touch to the steering column. Like any project, Barry always makes sure the cart is off, and the parking brake is set before starting any DIY maintenance.

He starts by removing the center plate of the steering wheel by gently prying it off. Then he removes the bolt that attaches the steering wheel to the column. After loosening the wheel from the shaft with a rubber mallet, he grasps both sides of the wheel and pulls it from the shaft. He gently slides the sleeve down the shaft, then replaces the bolt and tightens it into place.

He puts the steering wheel back into place, ensuring it is on straight and lined up with the tires before tightening the nut to reattach the steering wheel. Finally, he pops the center plate back into place, and the project is complete.
