Barry then removes the protective cover from the controller before the leads and pin connector are removed. Barry zip-ties the wires to keep them in the correct positions before carefully dismounting the controller and sliding it out. After installing the new controller, all nuts and bolts are put back in place, and the protective shielding is replaced.
