EZGO 36 Volt Solenoid | How to Replace Golf Cart Solenoid Coil | Install
Jun 16th 2017
This DIY golf cart video begins with a list of tools necessary to replace the EZGO 36 golf cart solenoid coil: 9/16 socket/wrench, a 7/16 socket/wrench, a socket wrench, and needle nose pliers. The demonstrator assumes you have first removed the seats and outer frame.
Starting with the safety step of loosening the battery cable to interrupt the electric flow, the narrator goes through the process of how to access and remove the old solenoid. Once this is done, you learn how to transfer the resistor from the old solenoid to the new, unhook the diode, reattach it, and complete the installation.
