In this video, Barry demonstrates how to remove and replace an ignitor for a Club Car DS gas-powered golf cart. This particular model is from 1992, but this fix could be replicated on any model of Club Car DS from 1992 to 1994. Barry begins by removing the body of the cart, and then locates the ignitor behind the RPM limiter. The limiter can be replaced at this time if necessary, which you must remove before continuing with the installation. Removing one bolt releases the ignitor bracket, and the old ignitor is dismounted. Once the new ignitor is mounted on the bracket, it is bolted back onto the cart along with the RPM limiter.
