The solenoid is responsible for converting electrical energy into mechanical energy in your golf cart. The solenoid provides the electrical energy necessary to activate the golf carts ignition system by being the conduit between the golf carts battery pack and controller. Without a properly functioning solenoid, your cart might not run as intended.
