How to correctly tighten your wheel lugs-

 

Tightening your lug nuts correctly will preserve the life of your steel or aluminum wheel. Loose lug nuts result in steel bending and aluminum cracking. Below we will explain the correct steps taken when tightening your lugs. 

• Finger tighten all lugs while wiggling tire so lug nuts center in holes
• Tighten in a criss-cross pattern (i.e.- 1 to 2; 3 to 4)
• 50 foot pounds of torque is ideal tightness
